Nothing much more to report. The judge over there who was on maternity leave is back, so they are thinking the wait times between referral and actually going over there will be shorter. We haven’t been referred yet, so it’s nothing for us right now.
We are taking the advice of the agency to do things we won’t be able to do once we get the kids, so we leave for Jamaica Sunday to where we went on our honeymoon (though it’s our 5th time to Jamaica and 3rd time to this place) for a week to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Why do we keep going back there when there are so many other great places to go (especially given all the price drops due to the economy). It’s one of the few places we ever truly relax, I guess. Also, we’ve fallen in love with the country and the people and especially the food. Can’t wait to have conch and pumpkin soup.
Anyway, strange connection I found. One of the religions in Jamaica is Rastafarianism - Bob Marley anyone? Rastafarianism originated in… Ethiopia!! LOL! Also, my church is actively seeking to start mission trips to Jamaica in the next few years. Don’t tell me there isn’t a connection somewhere in there, LOL.
