I’m glad I read somewhere that some shiro powder comes with the berbere already added. I decided to make it before grinding the spice. It doesn’t need anything added to it.
It looks and tastes similar to what we’ve had at Meskerem - actually it’s a bit spicier - really glad I didn’t add anything. Don’t know how the family is going to like it, but I know Adam and I will eat it.
