I tried calling CIS, and, well, think of every “contacting the federal government” cliche there ever was and you will know what that experience was like. I have an e-mail out to my social worker, and I thought she had sent something in one of her weekly reports giving us a more direct number/website for us to contact to get more information. I saw the computer screen, they have our fingerprints. If something came up in their investigation, I’m sure we would have been contacted by now. It’s just usual delay stuff, I’m sure.
